Agreement for Logistics & Freight Warehousing
Welcome to HOOPER'S MOVING AND STORAGE INC.. By engaging our transport or forwarding services, you're agreeing to the standards we've set to maintain professional integrity and operational excellence. We've spent 17 years refining these protocols to ensure your transit experience is seamless.
1. Liability for Cargo Transportation
How do we protect your assets? While we manage every shipment with extreme care, our liability is strictly defined by industry-standard limitations. Unless higher value is declared in writing before transit, liability for cargo loss or damage is limited per pound or package as per our published tariffs.
2. Warehouse Storage Protocols
We're committed to high-security warehousing. Goods kept in our facilities are handled under the standard warehouse keepers' lien. We don't assume responsibility for indirect or consequential damages arising from storage delays.
3. Payment & Delivery Terms
Service fees for forwarding and delivery are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly surcharge. We've built our billing system to be simple, but the rules are firm to keep our fleet moving. Simple as that.
